8 Art Prints That Are Perfect for Valentine's Day | Creative Living
With Valentine’s day coming up soon I thought it would be fun to round up some of my favorite art prints that I’ve loved over the years and that have been shop favorites from our customers too. I love the gift that art can bring to our homes.
The gift of beauty.
The gift of inspiration.
The gift of joy.
And more than anything I think having art hung in your home spurs on the gift of creativity in a way that nothing else does.
I’m often thinking of ways how I can give gifts that will last longer and create something more meaningful in one's life. And I believe giving the gift of art can do just that.
The best part about these prints I’ve created and rounded up for you here is that they can’t be boxed into only being used for Valentine’s day alone. Use them on a mantle all year round, place one in a gallery wall surrounded by pictures from your life’s story, or hang it in your child’s room for an added touch of beauty and whimsy.
I hope you find something special you love through these and that it inspires you to finally put something beautiful on that blank wall you’ve been staring at for too long. (I also have a little gift for you at the bottom of this post if you happen to find one you love 😉)
I hand lettered this simple print after the lyrics from one of my favorite musicians, John Mayer. We have this print sitting on our mantle next to our family photos and it reminds me that the gift of love isn’t just about feelings, it’s more about the actions we take to show someone we love them. An all time favorite for it’s simple, yet profound message.
I love picturing this print hung up in a child’s room reminding them of the love they are surrounded with. Frame this next to a family photo and hang side by side for the sweetest touch.
Flowers on Valentine's day that will never die!?! Yes please! This would make a sweet gift for a galentine, sister, mom, or mother in law. Pair it with some chocolate and you'll be an instant favorite!
Another print I love to see in a baby nursery or little one’s room. It’s simple and sweet and has all the precious details they’ll adore as they grow.
I painted this during the fall, but I love how the rich colors remind me of this time of year too. Grab this in a larger print size and pop it into a matted frame then set it in the background with your favorite black and white photos layered next to it. This will give a touch of beautiful color among your home decor and beauty that will last through the year.
I painted this one for my girls room and it’s been a favorite of mine ever since. Each flower represents each of my kids with the colors and delicacy of it representing how I feel about motherhood. It’s a beauty for all year round and is an easy way to add life to any space.
I still stare at this print in adoration, thinking of the meaning it brings to me. A moment in time that I never want to forget as a mama, holding my little ones hands, having them reach for me as they grow. I hope this one brings meaning to your story as well in a way that’s personal to you. Choose this in a smaller size and write a love note to your little one on the back of it, or gift it to your significant other with a love note telling them how much you love parenting alongside them. A simple piece of art you can gift that will turn into a cherished heirloom overtime.
This is a phrase my parents would say to us all growing up and I knew I had to hand-lettered it and put it into a collection someday to be remembered. Now it's here for you to have and use within your own story too. Frame it for your partner or your kids this Valentine’s day for a meaningful gift they’ll delight in.
