Free Printable Mini Cards for Valentines & 5 Creative Ways to Use Them | DIY
I made these mini Valentine’s Cards for my kid’s classmates a couple years ago and I've loved seeing so many of you downloading and using them too. When I first created them I only had mini cards in mind, but after using our creative ideas a little more, my kids helped me come up with more ways they can be fun and useful for the holiday.
So here are 5 ideas (apart from using them in your kids classes) on how you can use these cards for yourself or your kids this year.
And yes! You can download them inside here for FREE! Enjoy:
1. Special gift tags
Use them for a birthday, shower, or a just because gift. Dodge the whole gift wrap ensemble and just punch a hole at the top of one of the cards, tie a pretty ribbon through to wrap around your gift for the simplest gift wrapping ever.
2. A mini garland
Cut out the illustrations you like most and tape them onto string or jute to make a unique and cute decorative garland for your Valentine’s day table or use them for a birthday or baby shower. I used the hearts here to make a sweet heart garland I hung above our table for Valentine’s Day morning.
3. Decorative toppers on cake or treats
Choose your favorite ones to cut out and simply tape them on the back of a toothpick or wooden skewer to stick into the top of a cake for a party or on pancakes for a holiday breakfast! A simple touch like this can make the whole celebration go a long way.
4. Make your own hand made greeting card
Cut out the animal illustrations or one of the hearts and glue it onto folded card stock. Color it in with your favorite pencils or markers and add your own hand drawn touches around the card for a personal feel. A perfect way to make something so simple have more meaning for a loved one, teacher, or friend.
5. Turn them into stickers!
And who doesn’t love stickers, right!?! Print these pages out on sticker paper and turn them into the cutest stickers for your kids to use or gift to their friends on Valentine’s day.
I hope you have fun with these and make them in your own special way. You can join the Insider’s Collection here (my freebie vault/library) and start creating with them today!
Thanks for being here, friend!
